How I Fill Up My Raised Beds

From DIY cedar raised beds to plastic raised beds and finally, I saved up money to splurge myself and upgraded to Vego Garden raised beds. It’s the best decision I have done in raised bed gardening and I wished I had done that from the beginning.

  • No more rotting wooden raised beds to replace.
  • No more dealing with the critters chewing on plastic raised beds. I tested out other brands of metal raised beds and still like the sturdy and thick quality of Vego Garden raised beds better.
  • Vego Garden classic raised beds have the add on features like the frame attachment with a mesh or frost cover
  • Add on optional irrigation system is alaos available

I used fine pine mulch, free maple leaves the community donated to me, fresh veggies, fish, and fruit scraps, dead plants from the January freeze, composted soil that has been broken down for about four months, and a block (10 pounds compressed) coco coir.
I tilled in worm casting, bone meal, azomite, and organic Epson fertilizer.
