5/17/24: Luke Lucas is one of my volunteer grower who helped me grow one of the tomato varieties I wanted to taste test this year. He is growing the Black Cherry tomato, a heirloom tomato.

How I Grow Tomatoes from Seeds General Information: (insert link)
Germination rate: 100%
Growth rate: vigorous
Fruit production: Average, not as many compared to the Sugary Hybrid and Golden Cherry F1
Fruit size: fruit size is very big for a cherry tomato; the average fruit size is comparable to a large longan or perhaps to the size of an Emperor lychee.
Sweetness level: very sweet, much sweeter compared to Sugary F1.
Flavor: I love the flavor! It definitely does not remind me the raw tomato taste from the Costco assorted cherry tomato box.
Texture: The texture is somewhat mushy or pulpy though with its thick meaty flesh. It is the only trait I do not like about this tomato.
Rating from me would be a Like or Love if it still ranks high after tasting many other tomato varieties later on. It would be something I would try to grow in my garden ONLY after I complete my tomato tasting quest. 😂
