My little foodie is very picky when it comes to eating meat. I recall a time when she visited Grandma in Texas and was chewing on my mom’s homemade pork ribs crazily. So I asked Mom for her recipe. I figured if I call and annoy Mom enough, she would make this at home and measure out her ingredients for me since she always eyeball everything. Let me walk you through the recipe! I hope you enjoy my Mom’s pork ribs as much as my little munchkin does.
Ingredients:
1/2 Tbsp kosher salt
Direction:
Important note: Mom said to use a paper towel to “pat” off the excess cooking wine and salt after you rub it on both sides of the meat evenly. I didn’t think it would matter. My second time making this, I skipped this part and my daughter didn’t like it. The meat were salty in some parts.
3. Rub the pork ribs with minced garlic.
4. Then marinate pork ribs with the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
Behind the scene:
Oopsie! Someone splattered the marinade onto mommy’s cabinet while she was rubbing the marinade onto the meat. Unbelievable.
