Tasting & Reviewing Parathas

I am on a quest to try all the parathas at the markets to see which one taste closest to my favorite Malaysian style parathas that are flaky, buttery, and multilayered. Updated 11/26/24

To be continued…until next time

11/26/24 Review: Frozen paratha by Liang Food is the winner so far! The parathas resulted in a nice crispy, flaky, multilayered texture. Cooks evenly too. Kids and I love it. No more ordering out oily Chinese scallion pancakes for my kids at the Chinese restaurants. Just put it on a nonstick pan on medium high heat and pan fry each side for about two to three minutes. Watch the heat setting and adjust according.

Review: My kids and I like this banana flavored paratha. I don’t see it often at the iFresh Market in Orlando because it is sold out quick every time they stock it up.

Review: Crispy, flaky, but too thin for my preference.
